Today I introduced a new project in Photoshop 1. The students have to create a surreal world located inside another object. Here are a few examples from last semester’s students. Guidelines- it cannot be two images blended (ie. no sunset through a key hole.) It can be photo based or digitally painted, and when the artwork is finished it is to become an advertisement for a product for purchase.
I want wonky and crazy situations. Like the ones below. This first image was painted from scratch in Photoshop. Look into her chalice… a tempest with sea creatures.
