Typographic Posters

Professor Victoria Martin's student work

This work was created by beginning design students Sara and Kylin. The students were encouraged to explore classic typefaces as they researched the type designer. I enjoy the playfulness of both designs. They were featured in the graphic design student show on Lake Worth Campus. Great job ladies!

Hannah’s Branding

student work of Professor Victoria Rose Martin

This fabulous campaign was created by Hannah. This girl is amazing. She created color studies, logo studies, and after researching the market came up with a custom marketing kit for a company. She’s just landed her first job in the industry and I know she’s going to be a great asset to any company. Great job Hannah.

These pieces were created in Design Fundamentals where I teach the students Adobe Illustrator and how to think of and use typography in different ways. Mad Hatter was created by Angie.

The piece below was created by Marie. I absolutely love this piece, the color relationships, contrast and handling of type.

Immediately below is a typographic portrait completed by Heather. She used a photograph of her daughter to create a sweet illustration. My favorite thing is how she created the dandelions from W’s and T’s. I am always impressed with the incredibly talented students here at PBSC.

This week I am sharing the work of Catherine who is an incredible artist, designer and photographer. This lady has it all. Her work ethic is incredible and the projects she submits are always top in the class. Great job Catherine, and I consider myself lucky to have had such a talent in my classroom.
