Today I would like to share a brochure created by Kat C. This stunning design was created in Typography class. The students had to create a minimum of eight-pages. Being the spectacular A+ student, Kat did more and each page was more stunning than the next. Fantastic type choices, great layout and readability. This girl has so much potential, it’s just crazy. Thank you Kat for inspiring both me and your classmates.
Today I would like to feature an image created by the incredibly talented Veronica C. In fact, I was so smitten with this piece that I am using it for a department promotional piece.
Even rarer, this is the same talented student from the previous post. I usually avoid doing two posts in a row based on the same student, but this striking piece deserves the attention. Great job, this girl is amazing.
The past few weeks have been absolutely crazy for nearly every human being on the planet. All of my classes at PBSC have been converted to online and we are carrying on.
We had a mini critique in Blackboard today for Photoshop 2, and I wanted to share this piece by Ashley. It’s not finished but she did a really great job creating 3D text in Photoshop. The group gave her feedback in how to improve (not a lot to improve on) .
It’s nice to see that life continues while we all practice social distancing. Stay safe everyone and we’re going to get through this. Stay safe xoxo
Yaritza created this fabulous work of art, and its title is the mountain man. Isn’t he beautiful?
Yes. Yes, he is.
Yaritza is a fine artist who wanted to learn Photoshop because she realizes it’s so crucial for artists to know how to self promote and create digital artwork. I mean, do you want to have to pay someone to create pieces for you, or would you like to know how to do it yourself? (I am a cheap-skate. Pocket the cash people!) The colors, composition, and subject matter have a genuinely ethereal quality. Fabulous job, Yaritza. Keep going with the Photoshop work; you are amazingly talented and splendid things lay ahead in your artistic future.
