Wow! Samantha S. created this typographic portrait of Billie Eilish. The students learned how to use Adobe Illustrator while using only characters found on the keyboard. Great job Samantha. The off-centered composition, pop of color, and focal point of those eyebrows. Fantastic work.
This post features Digital Imagery student Veronica. I love her paintings so much. They’re fresh and colorful. The line quality and brush strokes are so lovely and loose. I love how they are feminine and goddess like.

Today I would like to feature Dot a graphic design student at Palm Beach State College, Lake Worth. He created this work as part of his end of term portfolio. The students created a surreal world. Dot created an environment based on a favorite video game.
The image above is the montage he created for the assignment. Below he includes a sidebar to illustrate all of the components found in the composition.
The bottom image shows how he mocked up a landing page, which included a thumbnail of his game artwork. Well done, Dot. As always, your layout and presentation are top-notch.
