Concepts are probably the most crucial part of creating a successful work of art. Today I would like to feature an illustration created by Jessica. I asked the students to research Shepard Fairey and create a piece inspired by his style. Jessica drew an incredible sketch and digitized it, employing a monochromatic color scheme. It’s important to remind students that computers are just a tool. Without strong concepts, you may struggle with creating designs. So, next time you have a project due, take out your sketchbook and get to work.
