Here in south Florida it’s still roasting hot, yet I cannot help but dream about fall. Looking at the divine work created by Josie makes me crave late October. And I shall pass on your Pumpkin Spice Lattes, thank you.

Below is Josie’s Photoshop project that includes photo manipulation and digital painting. The project was character design, the world where they live, and then turn that design into a block buster motion picture.

Josie visited a store where they sell Halloween costumes, dressed up a family member in the finest witchery garb available and snapped some shots in the isle of the store with her phone. Her photos are living proof that you don’t  need the fanciest camera in the world to make great images. It’s the concept which rules.

All good movies market themselves, so my students must incorporate their designs into different pieces. Below is Josie’s tote bag concept.

And who doesn’t enjoy a good tub or two of yummy popcorn? Or curling up at home with a movie?  So, let’s hope that summer and hurricane season buzz off soon and wonderfully talented students keep showing up at Palm Beach State each fall. Great job Josie. Your work is beyond brilliant and well thought, please keep inspiring everyone around you.
